David W. Keeley was born on the 21st of April, 1961 in Sarnia, Ontario. He moved to London, Ontario, where he was raised, from the age of two years old.He is married to Laura Burton, a professional musician. They have two children; a daughter, Leah, and a son, Aiden.David is 6'2" tall, has medium brown hair, and green eyes.He has appeared in many theatre, TV, and film productions [see appropriate section for details]. He won best actor award in the Dora Mavor Moore awards for his part in the musical 'Urinetown' [Toronto] in 2005.He is perhaps best known to most fans for being the Keeley in "Gross and Keeley" and has brought out two CD albums with his mate Paul Gross. The first is 'Two Houses', and the second 'Love and Carnage' , which was originally known as 'Give The Dog A Bone' [lyrics may be found under the music section]. There is still hope that the two men will get together again sometime soon and record more songs together. David has no formal training, but has been greatly influenced by great directors and teachers such as: Robin Phillips, Phyllida Lloyd, Jonathan Demme, John Wood, and John Rando. When asked for any interesting information he might have, David replied:"Yes, my middle name is William. Not after 'The Conqueror' though." "Olive Oil is a wonder, and Brunello wine from Montalcino in Tuscany is one of the best wines I have ever had glide down my throat" "I do think it is time that the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup." "I am always on the look out for a special First Edition of 'By Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept' by Elizabeth Smart."
" I do believe one should savour life, listen to one's heart, and try blue cheese - you never know, you might like it!" ***********Click here to see David at home.[Thanks to Maria for finding this online article]
